The Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry Enterprises of Russia (AMDPR) is a voluntary, professional, public, non—profit organization established in 1997 with the aim of consolidating efforts to overcome the crisis in the furniture and woodworking industry and create the necessary conditions for its rise in market conditions and export development. The Association's Charter was approved by the AMDPR General Meeting on May 6, 1997. The Association includes more than 130 furniture, plywood and slab enterprises, woodworking companies for the production of floor coverings, wall panels, sets for wooden frame and panel house construction, mouldings and other woodworking products, as well as large, medium and small enterprises in the Central, Northwestern, Southern, Volga, Ural and Siberian districts of Russia.
