CYMEX develops and manufactures high-performance tooling, equipment, and consumables for restoring the geometry of cap-type welding electrodes—a critical operation in the spot welding process.

Without regular maintenance (recommended interval: up to 400 welds), electrode wear leads to defects ("stick welding"), which in industries like automotive manufacturing results in complete product rejection.

Our flagship solution is unique shaped replaceable cutting inserts (blades) for electrode dressing. The result of 1.5 years of R&D and over 400 experiments: we optimized micro-geometry, materials, and coatings. This enabled us to create products that outperform leading global brands in durability. All materials are of Russian origin, ensuring complete import independence.

We also design and modernize milling cutter bodies (cutter housings), focusing on their reliability, efficient heat and chip dissipation, and ease of maintenance.

CYMEX is also developing its own modular machines for cap electrode dressing. The design is scalable: from a basic model to a fully automated system with electrode feeding and sorting by remaining useful life.

Our top priority is adapting our solutions to the specific tasks of the customer. By agreement, CYMEX can maintain a replenishable stock of tooling and consumables at its warehouse.
