The history of the CTA-PRESS media group begins in 1996, when the first issue of the quarterly journal «Modern Technologies of Automation» (CTA) was published, aimed at industrial automation specialists and embedded systems developers. Since 2004, the media group has also published another periodical, «Modern Electronics» for specialists in electronics, microelectronics, instrumentation, and IT technologies.

Today, CTA-PRESS is developing a complex of complementary and modern information platforms. These include the Modern Electronics and Automation Technologies internet portal www.cta.ru, the two aforementioned periodicals for specialists in various fields, the MODERN ELECTRONICS AND AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGIES channel, which is present on all major video hosting sites, news accounts on all popular social networks, and the «Advanced Technologies of Automation» (ATA) offline conferences on industrial automation and embedded systems, regularly held across the country, which provide a unique platform for professional networking and business contacts.
