In 2025, JSC «NRI «Eleсtron» celebrated its 70th anniversary. The company is considered a leader in the development and production of transmitting and receiving television (TV) tubes, photoelectron multipliers, solid-state linear and matrix-type photoelectronic devices (CCD and CMOS), modules and cameras for special applications, and other complex products for the radio-electronic industry. The company has expertise in conducting customized research and development projects. At the same time, the enterprise provides various services of a production nature, including the development and production of non-standard technological and measuring equipment. The production site is located in St. Petersburg and includes scientific laboratories, a production complex, a testing center, and a staff of highly qualified specialists, including PhD and doctors of science. The intellectual property includes: 1,000 copyright certificates and patents, more than 700 publications, articles, reports, and research and development results.
JSC «NRI «Electron» has developed and launched into series a line of Russian CMOS photodetectors. Modifications with digital and analog outputs have been released.
